FAQ

Most Common Questions

What is the goal of pain management?

The goal is to reduce pain, restore function, and improve quality of life.

You should see a pain specialist if:

  • Pain lasts longer than 4–6 weeks
  • Pain interferes with sleep or daily activities
  • Physical therapy or medications have not helped
  • You want to avoid surgery

We accept most major insurance plans. Please contact our office to verify your coverage and benefits.

We also accept medical liens for personal injury cases and self pay patients.

Please bring in any imaging records and previous treatment records.

When performed by a trained interventional pain physician using imaging guidance, injections are generally safe and well tolerated. Risks and benefits are always reviewed before treatment.

Relief varies depending on the condition and procedure. Some injections provide weeks to months of relief, while other procedures may last 6–12 months or longer.
